Stan Price State Wildlife Sanctuary

The sanctuary includes an area that has been closed to hunting since the mid-1930s. Almost 95 percent of the visitors to Pack Creek see at least one bear at one time, Sitka black tailed deer, river otter, mink, marten, harbor seals, Orcas, humpback whales,  and even bald eagles, Raven, crows and gulls feeding on spawning salmon. Most visitors travel by boat or plane from Juneau.
