Cape Krusenstern National Monument

It is a coastal plain dotted with sizable lagoons and backed by gently rolling limestone hills. It is 540,000 acres containing artifacts aging more than 5000 years from every known Eskimo occupation of North America. The visitors can travel through a jet service from Anchorage to Kotzebue then using a charter air operator with flights to the monument for about an hour.  Visitors during summer may travel through watercraft while snowmobiles, aircraft or dog sled may be used during winter.
